I thought it was just me. I took in my brothers airpods pro and after diagnostics the right and left ones needed replacement. They quoted replacements for ~$160 but somehow the system allowed it to be marked as $90. Except it wouldnt let me check out...

He ended up getting a new set of the latest pros for cheaper.

This all feels like a scam so you are forced to purchase apple care.
